The Construction Management curriculum provides the individual with the education and training necessary for an exciting and rewarding career path in the construction industry

Construction Management students will learn the aspects of building methods and materials as well as the skills to successfully manage construction projects through estimating, scheduling and project management skills. Throughout the program, students will work a variety of conceptual and real projects and be led by instructors with vast experience in the field.

The in-depth practical coursework prepares students for direct entry into the field as well as the potential to further their study leading to an advanced degree.

General Education Requirements: 15 Semester Hours

Select courses from the following groups:

ENG 101 (3 credit hours)
Social and Behavioral Sciences (3 credit hours)
MATH 119 or MATH 139 or higher level math course. (4-5 credit hours)
SET 100 (2 credit hours)
Groups I-V: General Education - Students must complete a total 15 general education hours including the courses listed above.

*Any higher-level general education courses can be substituted for the required courses.

Major Core Requirements: 40 Semester Hours

Major Core Electives: 6 Semester Hours

Select one elective course from Technical Department Courses: 3 credit hours

Select one elective course from Business Department courses: 3 credit hours
