- Choose to specialize in selling/production and management/design in the following areas:
- Floral Design and Interior Plantscaping
- Greenhouse Management
- Turfgrass Management
- Nursery Production and Arboriculture - Urban Forestry.
- You must take 16 hours of general education requirements
- You must take 32 hours of core required horticulture courses; this will give you a well-rounded background in plant science, pest management and sustainability techniques and practices.
- Tailor your degree by taking 20 hours of courses specific to your field of interest.

General Education Requirements: 16 Semester Hours
- ENG 101 - Rhetoric or ENG 130 - Technical Writing and Communication Students may substitute ENG 102 or ENG 230 for either of the above courses.

- Select one course from Group II: Social and Behavioral Sciences

Students choose 20 credit hours from any recommended course listed below in their area of concentration and/or any course in HORT - selected with Advisor’s approval.
