Return to: Career and Technical Education
Program Code: SS190
The Criminal Justice Professional degree serves both Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice students as it prepares them for higher levels of employment in this field. This degree is more rigorous than the base Criminal Justice Students (SS180) or Law Enforcement (SS510) degrees. It is designed for students who plan to continue their education at a four-year college/university. The general education requirements match those of the Associate in Arts degree, while the Major Core Requirements provide the foundation courses for more advanced study. Increasingly, many employers, including federal agencies, prefer or require a bachelor’s degree for entry-level positions and for career advancement.
All CRJ courses are taught by highly qualified instructors with years of practical experience who are experts in their field of study. The Criminal Justice Professional degree is multifaceted and can be utilized for any position in the field of criminal justice and law enforcement.
