PCIT 140 - Process Technology I - Equipment

Basic operating principles of equipment such as: valves, piping, pumps, compressors, generators, motors, lubrication systems, heat exchangers, furnaces, boilers, cooling towers, separators, reactors, and distillation columns will be the focus of this course. The mechanical characteristics and the interactions of the plant equipment will be explored. Prerequisite(s): PCIT 101 and PCIT 121
