CAP 120 - Carpenter Internship I

This course is designed to provide organized on-the-job training for apprentice carpenters to practice and develop the skills learned by a first-year apprentice and gain job experience in a structured environment with supervision and guidance provided by construction professionals. The apprentice will be required to demonstrate and apply skills such as safety and accident prevention, construction/carpentry terminology, tool and material identification, basic layout and framing.Prerequisite: Students must be recommended by the Chicago Council of Carpenters Apprenticeship Program.
