With the reduction of hours, this program will no longer be financial aid eligible.
The Desserts/French Pastry/Custards and Frozen Desserts Certificate of Completion offers a wide variety of technical and practical techniques related to plated desserts and classical pastries. Students interested in pursuing a career as a pastry chef, baker, or restaurant pastry chef are ideal candidates for this certificate of completion. In these courses the students will learn the multiple components of a beautifully plated dessert, a multitude of classical French and European Pastries, a variety of baked and stirred custards, and the science and technology behind frozen desserts and the varied ingredients.
