Auto Body Repair, A.A.S.

This degree in the Automotive Program is an A.A.S. Degree for Auto Body Repair for individuals entering entry-level auto body technician positions. The degree’s courses include courses in nonstructural repair, painting and refinishing, automotive systems commonly damaged in accidents and general education requirements.  This degree gives the individual well-rounded knowledge in repairing mechanical items usually associated with auto body work.

General Education: 15 Semester Hours


Select courses from the following groups:

Group I: Communications  - Must take either ENG 101 or ENG 130. (3 credit hours)

Group II: Social and Behavioral Sciences  - 3 credit hours required

Group III: Humanities and Fine Arts  - No specific minimum credit hours required.  This category is optional for AAS degrees.

Group IV: Math/Sciences  - 3 credit hours required

Group V: Career Enhancement  - No specific minimum credit hours required.  This category is optional for AAS degrees.

 

Department Electives: 6 Semester Hours
