AS 116 - Automotive Fuel SystemsCredit Hours 3 Lecture: 2 Lab: 2 A comprehensive study of automotive and light truck fuel systems including theory, operation, diagnosis and repair of fuel injection systems as well as computerized engine controls and emission control systems. Lab activities include utilizing service information, fuel system service, diagnosis, and repair. Emphasis is on developing familiarity with current computerized fuel control systems and on diagnostic skill development. The latest equipment is used including lab scopes and scan tools. Prerequisite(s): AS 104 or consent of department.
