RESP 110 - Principles of Mechanical Ventilation IICredit Hours 3 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 Continuing to develop concepts in the theory of mechanical ventilation in the adult critical care patient. Selection of ventilator parameters, commitment, maintenance, weaning. In-depth presentation, discussion, demonstration of specific adult ventilator systems, CPAP, BiPAP circuits, practice and testing, simulation laboratory, and student presentation of case studies from clinical areas.
