Topics may include but are not limited to the nature of justice, liberty, equality, property, sovereignty, and governmental legitimacy. Philosophers from Plato to the present are considered. Prerequisite(s): Placement into ENG 101 or minimum grade “C” in one of the following: ENG 021 and ENG 099, or ENG 096, or the EAP sequence ENG 079 and ENG 089. Corequisite(s): none
