VET 290 - Externship IICredit Hours 1-5 Lecture: 0 Lab: 5-25 The site of the externship will be based on the student’s identified learning needs and interests in conjunction with faculty recommendations. Potential sites may include veterinary practices, emergency veterinary clinics, research institutions, zoos, animal rehabilitation centers, and pharmaceutical companies. Students will develop their individualized learning objectives for the externship. Students may also participate in an international practicum to meet required credit hours. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion with a minimum grade of “C” in all previous Veterinary Medical Technology program coursework. Is course repeatable for credit?
