Development of surgical support skills with emphasis on preparing surgery packs, cleaning instruments, autoclaving, aseptic techniques, surgical techniques, surgical preps, suture materials, and surgical assisting. Hands-on skill development will be performed in areas of surgical assisting, comprehensive oral assessment and treatments, dental radiography, charting teeth, and the administration and maintenance of anesthesia. Prerequisite(s): VET 180, VET 120, VET 125
