CYBIT 110 - Operating Systems FundamentalsCredit Hours 3 Lecture: 2 Lab: 2 An overview of the computing field and its typical applications. Covers key terminology and components of computer hardware, software and operating systems. This course provides an introduction to operating system basics with the intent of giving students a deeper understanding of various operating systems. Operating systems covered include Windows, Linux, and macOS. Students will have an introduction to application software and software development. Also included will be networking basics and information for how to create mixed environments.
