PLS 235 - Health and Medical Law for ParalegalsCredit Hours 3 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 This class will cover the basics of health law, through the interpretation of laws and regulations concerning the Affordable Care Act, health promotion programs, firearms, obesity, drug testing, Big Data, surveillance, databanks and privacy, genomics, reproductive health, emergency preparedness, and research with humans. The course will discuss the value of health, the productivity of health care and the role of health insurance. Prerequisite(s): PLS 100 and PLS 105 Is course repeatable for credit?
